On Monday, the government released its National Bus Strategy, promising a “bus revolution”.
We don’t need a government plan to tell us what we already know - buses should work for people, not profit.
But that’s what makes the government announcement so important! They said that “the fragmented, fully commercialised [bus] market...will end”
Join us at 6pm next Thursday to get involved in the campaign, and let the new Mayor of West Yorkshire know, whoever they will be, that we won’t back down until we’ve taken our buses back.
