IPSWICH MAY DAY FESTIVAL 30th April - 45th ANNIVERSARY #IWMD
Ipswich May Day Festival celebrates its 45th anniversary this year!
Come and join us for a day of celebration and fun for all the family.
Fairground rides, pop-up shops, refreshments, ice cream, candy floss, street food, trades union stalls, and much more...!
Just like every year, entrance is free - as a gift from the Ipswich and District Trades Union Council to the people of Ipswich in celebration of International Workers Memorial Day.
Bands and Speakers to be announced.
Focus for the day will be:
- An end to discrimination and harassment on the grounds of Gender, Race, Disability, Sexuality, and Age.
- Scrapping the anti Trade Union laws
*** Please remember that there is a limit to the amount of alcohol you can bring on to the park, 4 cans of beer per person, or one bottle of wine ***
** No glass to be brought on to the park **
