Remember the dead Fight for the Living
This years theme is the Fundamental Right to Safe and Healthy Work and we will start the event with music by Claire Mooney a Manchester singer song writer, followed by a minutes silence. The event will be chaired by Lynn Collins the North West TUC Regional Secretary and our invited speakers include:

Phil Liptrott -Thompsons Solicitors

The names of workers who have died because of work from the North West Region will be read out by local trade union activists followed by a moment of reflection
Joan McNulty - Stockport Unison and UK Stress network organiser
Doug Russell - USDAW National Health and Safety officer
Finally Greater Manchester Hazards activists will perform a short Agitprop production.
