Rally for Coventry HGV drivers - Pay The Rate

On Saturday 26th March, Unite General Secretary, Sharon Graham will lead the rally to support Coventry HGV Drivers – if the Council Leader will not come to us to talk, then Unite will come to Coventry this Saturday!

Unite The Union members at Coventry City Council are on strike demanding pay justice. Strike action is continuing following the latest ballot which returned a 94% yes vote for action. Coventry Labour Council have responded by suspending lead rep Pete Randle! The Council Leader, George Duggins is refusing to meet and negotiate – he claims he is not allowed to!
