Solidarity Call Out - Capita - Unite Finance Sector Dispute

Unite members working for Capita life and pensions have taken the difficult decision to take strike action.

Capita decided to renege on two pre agreed discussions with Unite to discuss pay in 2024. In affect serving up a pay freeze whilst shareholders continue to enjoy dividends. By voting for strike action Unite members are sending a clear message to Capita that they will not be bullied into accepting a pay freeze for 2024!

On the back of a strong mandate from members, formal notice has been served, and Official Industrial Strike Action will commence at 5:59am Wednesday 29th January 2025 and will end at 5:59am Wednesday 5th February 2025.
