Waltham Forest's Workers' Memorial Day event

Waltham Forest Trades Council, local unions and supporters will gather at the Market Square at the top of High St Walthamstow. Speakers from the Trades Council, local unions and campaigns will address this year's Workers Memorial Day theme, climate risks to workers, will remember all those killed working in Waltham Forest over the years and address the broader reasons for holding Workers Memorial Day. We will have a display of empty shoes to represent those no longer with us and to commit again to remember the dead and to fight like hell for the living.
