WALTHAM FOREST - WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY

Trade unionists in Waltham Forest will gather on Workers Memorial Day to remember the damage work can do, death, injury, disability and ill-health, to recognise the preventable nature of this damage if employers and governments acted positively and committing again to fight like hell for the living.
Speakers have been invited from local trade unions including Unison Waltham Forest, Waltham Forest Trades Council, UCU, RMT, NUJ, NEU, PCS, FBU, Unite and more. Speakers will highlight issues around working through the covid pandemic and how health and safety is a fundamental part of the current industrial unrest.
