Wolverhampton International Workers Memorial Day 2024

Wages are paid in exchange for your labour, not your health.
Yet every day 6,000 workers die worldwide as a result of work-related accidents and diseases.
Workers suffer hundreds of millions of accidents and incidents of work-related illnesses each year.
Health and safety improvements have come about only because of pressure to improve standards.
Trade Unions and the Safety Reps they elect and train, have played a key part in these changes and continue to campaign to safeguard workers.
ALL workers have the right to be safe and healthy at work.
