Reasons to Regulate in Wakefield: Franchise for Fair Fares

At their 2pm meeting, Wakefield Council is voting on a motion to support the West Yorkshire Mayor's plans to bring your local buses into public control.

We want to make sure everyone in Wakefield knows that the power to take back their buses is currently in their hands through the Mayor's consultation.

That's why we'll be spelling out one of the reasons to back public control: franchising for fair fares.
