People's Question Time! Protest @ WYCA's AGM

The bus franchising process is shrouded in secrecy. From shadow bus boards with no agendas or minutes, to commercially sensitive contracts with private companies - passengers and bus workers are being kept in the dark about the future of our bus network. Join our People's Question Time on Thursday 25 June to demand accountability from our mayor!
 
So we're holding a People's Question Time outside of Mayor Brabin's AGM to demand accountability from our mayor.

We want to highlight how local people are not allowed to question the mayor at her public meetings.

Instead of being able to submit public comment and questions during WYCA's AGM, we're forced to stand outside the Mayor's Office and hold our own public question time! If you want to ask a question or give public comment at our demo, email [email protected] for a 2 minute speaking slot.

🤷‍♂️ We'll hold a public comment session outside the Mayor's office, inviting local people to ask the questions they  would ask the mayor if they were allowed inside, and demand answers from WYCA on who will franchise our buses, why they built floating bus stops without consulting users, and demand she release the secret report on WYCA's trams. We'll then go into the public gallery of the WYCA AGM to show our elected politicians that we're holding them to account.
