Workers in the UK put in billions of hours of unpaid overtime every year. Whether football fans or not, they have earned a day off.
We have fewer public holidays than the rest of Europe. Only Romania gets less of a break.
Britain deserves more bank holidays – and not just if England wins the World Cup.
