Fair Pay for Saica Paper Workers

As you will be aware Unite the Union members are currently staging industrial action at PM11 in Carrington after the management failed to offer workers a fair and justified pay deal.
The mill posted record profits of over £69m last year mostly due to the efforts of its dedicated and hardworking production operators.
They have work tirelessly through the pandemic helping break all previous production records.
Now that we are in unprecedented times with regards to record inflation, high interest rates and the general 'Cost of Living Crisis' we feel that now is the time to give back to the workers in acknowledgement for their outstanding contribution to the businesses growth.
A below inflation pay offer is no way to reward these workers.
In the words of the Mill Manager " We would be nothing without the dedication of our workers".
It's time to prove these words are of substance.
Nobody wants to stage this action but the workers have no choice but to fight for a fair pay deal.

Why is this important?
Everybody is struggling with what's going on in this country at the moment.
The 'Cost of Living Crisis' is forcing so many people into debt & poverty.
Spiralling energy costs, high interest rates, fuel costs & the rocketing price of food is crippling millions.
Something has to change.
