Pass the Employment Rights Bill in full

For too long, the world of work has been rigged against ordinary people. But now, thanks to years of campaigning, we’re close to winning real change.

The government's Employment Rights Bill could deliver the biggest upgrade in workers' rights in a generation. If passed in full, the Bill would:
  • End fire-and-rehire
  • Curb zero-hours contracts
  • Make sick pay fairer - by scrapping the waiting period and extending eligibility
  • Guarantee fairer rights to bereavement leave
  • Give unions stronger rights to organise and represent workers

But big business, right-wing media, and Tory peers are lining up to water down and delay the Bill - just like they tried to stop the National Minimum Wage 25 years ago.

We need to show Lords and MPs from every party how many of us back this Bill and demand they pass it without watering it down.

Add your name now. The more of us who sign, the louder our voice.

Why is this important?

Everyone deserves security, dignity and a fair day's pay for a fair day's work.

At a time when bosses are raking in record pay while working people face a cost-of-living crisis, the Employment Rights Bill will help tip the balance back toward workers - and make sure they get a fairer share.

The Bill also includes vital rights that make it easier for workers to organise and build strong unions. It will:
  • Make it harder for anti-union giants like Amazon to block union organising
  • Support union reps with better rights and time off to do their job
  • Strengthen the process for workers to win union recognition and build power together
  • Make it easier for reps and organisers to access workplaces and talk to workers about their rights

But all of this is at risk. The Bill is now in the House of Lords, and Tory peers are preparing to water it down.

Add your name now to demand the Employment Rights Bill is passed - in full, and without delay.
