Stop Parking Eye at James Cook and the Friarage

South Tees NHS Foundation Trust have recently announced plans to introduce Parking Eye into its car parks at James Cook University Hospital and the Friarage.
This has been done without any consultation. It will lead to unfair charges being handed out to hard working staff who are already struggling to find car parking spaces, many who are also struggling to make ends meet.
It will also impact on patients attending appointments, who will have the additional stress of worrying about parking fines.
You shouldn’t be fined for coming to work.
Why is this important?
Parking Eye is bad for staff and bad for patients. It could lead to punitive fines being handed to a private company – even when you’ve been unable to find a parking space.
It is wrong, and it shouldn’t happen.
A formal dispute has been raised from UNISON and other staff side unions and this can be stopped – but it needs you to act.
