SAY NO TO DANGEROUS BAG SPLITTING
.png)
Managers at the Suez run Pallion Recycling Centre, are asking staff to open Sunderland residents black bags when they arrive at the tip.
This is a dangerous practice - putting workers at risk of being stabbed by needles, exposed to dangerous chemicals and other risks.
Why is this important?
The Pallion Centre is already understaffed. Introducing this policy not only puts workers at risk but is also an invasion of user privacy.
We call on SUEZ to think again and put its people before profit.
